Wizkid: Made in Lagos submitted for nomination at the 2022 Grammys
Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid may be set to get his first Independent nomination for “Made In Lagos” at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
Made in Lagos is Big Wiz’s fourth studio album released on 30 October 2020 by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records.
Billboard, a platform that tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in the United States and other countries depending on the genre has confirmed that Wizkid’s album has been submitted for nomination in the “Best Global Music Album” category.
The Billboard in a post via its official website wrote, ”Wizkid’s Made in Lagos is vying for a nod in the recently renamed best global music album category” at the 2022 Grammys.
Wizkid won his first-ever Grammy in 2021, for his contribution on Beyonce’s song, Brown Skin Girl
